SNOWDONIA
The Snowdonia
National Park in North Wales offers exceptional
opportunities to the outdoor enthusiast.
It is a great
place to start out on a new adventurous outdoor
activity, as well as it being a ‘mecca’ for those with
experience.
We offer
experience and knowledge of the area to provide for you
what you want, whether that is the whole package
(guiding, gear, accommodation, transport, food and
drink), or just helping you get yourselves sorted out.

An
advantage of the National Park is that it is quite
accessible and therefore suits weekend itineraries as
well as weeks, or longer periods. Sample Itineraries.
Sample Itinerary
Hike / Bike Weekend or Week
Friday:
Arrive at your leisure. If you’re in time for activity
in the afternoon that can be arranged to suit! Evening
meal and briefing.
Optional Night exercise.
Navigation or familiarisation.
Saturday:
Mountain Day. Tryfan and the Glyders. Some fantastic
Grade 1 scrambling well over 50% of the day spent on
spectacular ridges. Ascend up Tryfan’s north ridge, down
to Bwlch Tryfan, and then up once more to the Glyder
peaks. Take in the famous landmarks, Tryfan’s Canon, the
Adam and Eve standing stones, the Cantilever rock,
Castle of the Winds. An 8 hour day to be followed by a
well-earned drink and a good meal!

Sunday:
Mountain Biking. The 25 kilometre Marin Trail takes
about 3 to 4 hours to complete. If you’ve more time, the
best sections of it can be repeated. It is a
purpose-built bike track with plenty of single track. It
would however be rated a ‘green run’ and is suitable for
riders with a decent level of fitness and a good
mountain bike. Finished by 4 pm so as to give you plenty
of time to get home!
